What you'll do

Assist in planning and implementing creative lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and social skills. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and structured environment conducive to learning. Engage with children through interactive activities that encourage exploration and discovery. Foster strong communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop curriculum tailored to meet diverse learning needs, including those of children with disabilities or autism. Supervise daily activities, ensuring safety and well-being during playtime, snack time, and educational sessions. Participate in behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among students. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that reflects the values of early childhood education.

Basic qualifications

Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
