Overview:
The Practice Leader III - Clinical manages staff and oversees all day-to-day department operations. This role collaborates with the Practice Administrator/Manager to identify clinical and/or administrative staff performance issues and works to develop action plans and audits as needed. This position works to on board any new staff, Advanced Practice Providers or physicians and arranges for credentialing, resources and tools necessary to support their work environment.
Responsibilities:
Manages assigned Clinical and/or administrative staff to ensure that the staff members are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
Recruits, hires, and terminates personnel as required to assure efficient and effective workflows, according to policy.
Oversees scheduling vacations and scheduling to cover temporary vacating positions.
Manages the training of new staff and providers with all related ambulatory clinical workflows.
Manages established protocols for all clinical activities and ensures competency check-off for all staff in both Clinical and administrative areas.
Ensures a positive guest experience through adherence to Steps of Service protocols and deescalates situations when necessary.
Orders and maintains office & clinical supplies as needed. Measures and implements performance improvement activities in all areas of the practice to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
