Practice Coordinator
to their team. The Practice Coordinator provides employee and physician administrative support services that ensures that the office runs smoothly. The Practice Coordinator creates a positive, professional, service-oriented work environment, by encouraging teamwork and communication.
Athena EMR experience is required.
Responsibilities: Creating and assigning provider templates in Athena EMR and Microsoft Excel.
Provider administrative maintenance including hospital reappointments and privileges, ABOG renewals, DEA/CDS/state licensing.
Maintaining providers schedules in Athena and Outlook calendars.
New hire administrative support including payroll and timeclock administration, assisting with new hire and other HR related paperwork completion.
Creating and terminating all in office logins
Addressing any building maintenance issues that arise.
Coordinating and scheduling building inspections.
Keeping inventory of and ordering office clerical supplies.
Fielding and helping to resolve patient concerns.
Technical/equipment support at a practice level. Resolving issues with computers, phones, and the internet.
Coordinate office events.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED
2 years' previous experience working in a medical office
Previous Athena EMR experience required
