Job Responsibilities:

Prepare metal surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed. Apply powder coating or wetpaint finishes to sheet metal products according to specifications. Set up and operate spray guns, booths, and other painting equipment. Ensure proper paint application, thickness, and quality control standards. Inspect painted parts for defects, touch-ups, and overall finish quality. Maintain and clean painting equipment, booths, and work areas. Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of paints, chemicals, and ventilation procedures. Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely completion of painted components.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in industrial painting, powder coating, or metal fabrication painting preferred. Familiarity with paint mixing, application techniques, and quality control processes. Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting, coatings, and chemical handling. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.without any restrictions is required. HS Diploma or GED is required.
