We partner with schools, employers, and community stakeholders to help participants gain clarity, credentials, and sustainable career pathways.
Position Summary
The
Post-Secondary Advisor (PA)
serves as a primary mentor, case manager, and advocate for youth enrolled in LTW programs. This role supports participants from enrollment through post-secondary transition by building strong relationships, guiding goal development, ensuring compliance with CCMEP/AMP requirements, and helping students access education, employment, and training opportunities aligned with their strengths and interests.
This is a mission-driven role ideal for professionals passionate about youth development, workforce systems, and data-driven case management.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the
face and voice of LTW
, professionally representing the organization at schools, community events, and partner meetings
Recruit and enroll eligible youth into LTW programs through outreach, presentations, and relationship-building
Conduct
eligibility screening
, intake, and annual re-determinations in compliance with CCMEP, TANF, and AMP guidelines
Complete and maintain all required documentation, including eligibility applications, assessments, IOPs, case notes, and follow-up records
Provide
ongoing case management
, including weekly participant contact, goal tracking, and barrier resolution
Facilitate readiness assessments and develop
Individual Opportunity Plans (IOPs)
aligned to education, training, and employment goals
Track participant progress, credentials earned, employment outcomes, and measurable skills gained
Deliver required
12-month follow-up services
for exited participants
Collaborate closely with Senior Post-Secondary Advisors, Career Coaches, Compliance, QA, and Business & Finance teams
Apply LTW's
DMAIC problem-solving framework
to improve processes and participant outcomes
Maintain confidentiality and data integrity across all systems (AMP, ARIES, internal databases)
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Human Services, Workforce Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3 or more years experience working with youth or young adults in education, workforce, or social-service settings
Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to manage a caseload while meeting strict compliance deadlines
Comfort using databases, case-management systems, and productivity tools
Ability to work flexible hours, including community-based and school-based settings
Preferred
Experience with CCMEP, WIOA Youth, TANF, or AMP-funded programs
Familiarity with ARIES or similar state workforce systems
Background in case management, advising, or coaching
Lean Six Sigma or continuous-improvement experience
