Job Description

The Mood, Anxiety, and Transdiagnostic Treatment Lab invites applications for a Post Doctoral Scholar position that will be based in Columbus, Ohio. We are involved in several clinical and translational projects, including refining, testing, and implementing a novel, personality-based treatment for borderline personality disorder called BPD Compass; identifying predictors of success in brief cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness-based treatments for anxiety; and modeling who benefits most from learning many emotion regulation skills or a single emotion regulation strength. The Post Doctoral Scholar will take a leading role in treatment delivery and management of a project to identify predictors of success in brief cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness-based treatments for anxiety, with substantial opportunities for involvement in all other ongoing projects as well as independent work and grant applications.

Required Education:



Doctorate (Academic) with a Major in Psychology.

Required Qualifications:



Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology by the time of appointment. Demonstrated record of accomplishments in mood, anxiety, or personality disorders. Demonstrated ability to deliver cognitive-behavioral treatments.

Preferred Qualifications:



Involvement in one or more clinical trials (e.g., as a study therapist, coordinator, etc.) Experience with hierarchical linear modeling, structural equation modeling, and/or machine learning models A pattern of well-regarded interpersonal collaborations (i.e., are you someone people enjoy collaborating with?)
