Post Closer Funding Review
Summary:

The Mortgage Loan Post-Closer Funding Review position reviews closed loan packages for shipping to GO Mortgage end-investors in accordance to published guidelines and regulatory requirements. Retrieves missing/outstanding documents.
Responsibilities:

• 
  Uses Encompass to track incoming closed loan files each day.
• Ensures signing is complete by verifying e-signatures and wet signatures scanned from title.
• Clears all funding conditions and gives funding authorization to title for files needing authorization.
• Reviews loan documentation for accuracy and proper completion based on checklist; uploads reviewed packages and follow up on outstanding docs/corrections with title companies and investors.
• Uploads mortgage data to MERS.
• Fulfills miscellaneous audit file requests.
• Completes PCCDs for CA per diem interest and requests checks when needed
• Runs final LDP/GSA when needed.
• Notes file with missing/requested items for Shipper\xe2\x80\x99s awareness.
• Works with Loan Officer and Loan Processor to obtain additional signatures from borrowers when needed.
• Correspondent Purchase Reviews/Conditions/Stips/Funding

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 1-2 years of experience in the Mortgage Banking Industry; loan shipping, or loan post closing required.
Preferred:

• Working knowledge of mortgage delivery requirements.
• Proven interpersonal skills, ability to interact with other departments and senior stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
• Proven organization and time management skills.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
