Qualifications

Position Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree OR 3 years of experience as a Collector of Consumer Loans or HELOC Products
  • 2 years of experience as a Collector of Consumer and HELOC Products experience
  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience in HELOC collections or Loss Mitigation is preferred


Consumer Loan Center Portfolio Collector
The CLC Portfolio Collector is responsible for providing excellent customer service while effectively collecting on delinquent loans and HELOC\'s.

This position works for the CLC Collections Department, on early-stage accounts that are 10 to 89 days delinquent. This person should have proven collections experience in consumer and HELOC collections. In addition, the job would include identifying accounts with early intervention loss mitigation strategies such as re-age, forbearance, and modification just to name a few. The position also includes account research, such as skip tracing.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Make daily collection calls while understanding and achieving compliance with Reg F, FDCPA and other requirements established by the CFPB.
  • Review accounts to ensure consistent and compliant collections practices are performed on accounts 10 to 89 days delinquent.
  • Proficient customer service and customer professionalism.
  • Review, update, and complete required daily calls assigned each day.
  • Handle decisions regarding escalation, account handling and delinquency specific matters.
  • Seek new to improvements for daily collection efforts and customer service.
  • Assist department activities and projects.

10:00am-7:00pm
