Porter (Part-Time to Full-Time)



Compensation: $12-$16/hour (DOE)

Schedule: Evenings/weekends/holidays as needed; consistent shifts available

The Role



As a Porter, you're the backbone of back-of-house operations: you'll keep dishes

moving, maintain spotless work areas, and support facilities, receiving, and restocking

so service runs on-time and stress-free.

Responsibilities



- Operate dish machine; wash/sanitize pots, pans, smallwares; change

water/chemicals as needed.

- Keep the dish area organized; label, air-dry, and store to proper locations.

Facilities & Cleanliness

- Sweep/mop BOH nightly; detail-clean drains, baseboards, and walls on a set

rotation; deep-clean dish machine, sinks, and traps.

- Maintain trash, recycling, and compost systems; break down boxes; keep mop

sink and laundry areas tidy.

- Maintaining a weekly task schedule including pantry organization, hood filter

maintenance, and stocking employee restroom and handsinks.

Safety & Compliance



- Use chemicals per SDS; maintain buckets (sanitizer/soap) to spec; document

with quick logs.

- Prevent cross-contact for allergens; keep handwash sinks stocked and clear.

- Report low-stock and maintenance issues (leaks, lights, pests) immediately to

management.

Service Support



- Opportunities to assist with light prep (peeling, portioning, labeling) as trained

and time allows; as well as plating prepared desserts as needed.

- Emergency spill response and floor safety (wet floor signage, quick mop, dry

mats).
