Job Description
The Porter/Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and safety of the community's exterior and common areas, including the swimming pool and surrounding deck. This role ensures a welcoming and well-kept environment for all residents and guests. Key Responsibilities: Grounds & Common Area Maintenance
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are a Must as this position will travel between two properties.
Litter Control:
Physically walk the property frequently to remove all litter, debris, and pet waste from lawns, parking areas, sidewalks, and common indoor spaces.Lighting:
Check and replace exterior and common area lighting on a regular basis."Trash Outs":
Remove trash and debris from vacated apartments to prepare them for the make-ready process.Pool Maintenance
Daily Monitoring:
Clean and maintain the pool and pool areas daily.Chemical Balance:
Test pool water and maintain the proper chemical balance in accordance with safety standards and local regulations. A pool operator's certification may be preferred or required.Cleaning:
Skim the pool surface for debris, vacuum the pool floor, and brush the pool walls and tiles to prevent algae and calcium buildupEquipment Checks:
Inspect pool pumps, filters, and other equipment for proper functioning and report any issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.Safety:
Ensure all pool safety equipment (e.g., rescue poles, safety signs) is in place and the area is free of hazards.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
