Job Description

As a pool attendant you will be responsible for providing excellent service to the pool operations. (Position is seasonal)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for excellent customer service by proactively greeting and interacting with guests, assisting all guests with pool side needs to include seating, towels, hours of operations, directions, and other needs
• Direct guests to key locations in the property including emergency exits and procedures
• Respond and resolve guest needs in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties
• Distribute pool linen distribution and main attentiveness to the environment to enhance guest experience
• Proactively look for guest service opportunities, and take ownership of requests
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of pool areas at all times
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude in difficult situations
• Utilize property radio system to contact various departments and staff
• Monitor guest safety rules and advise Security via the radio of potential violations
• Proper performance requires some physical and mental dexterity in order to accomplish tasks associated with the completion of the service
• Possess skills to expedite clerical processing, perform a service, evaluate information, and take action based upon information to complete a task or assignment or activity
• Completion of a task or assignment requires use of equipment, tools or systems related to the proper performance of the service
• Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Adhere to Company\xe2\x80\x99s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct

• 18 years of age
• Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Effective listening skills and attention to detail a must
• Ability to sit, stand and move safely around the pool area
• Ability to verbally communicate in English with internal/external guests
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other coworkers of different backgrounds and levels of experience
• Ability to work outdoors for extended period of time in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees
• Must be able to lift or carry a minimum of 50 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
