Overall Responsibilities of the

Pool Attendant:

Provide a safe, clean, and fun swimming environment for all. Meets or exceeds Member service expectations. Works well with other team members. Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual. Performs other duties as assigned.

The Pool Attendant will:

Complete the opening, mid-day, and closing duties checklist. Maintain the pool area; including vacuuming, washing decks and furniture, and flushing gutters. Ensure safety precautions are followed in pool area and identifies possible safety hazards. Provide optimal level of services to all Members and guests. Oversee the pool side activities. Enforce all Resort rules. Develop and maintain a friendly relationship with Members and visitors at the pool. Maintain pool cleanliness, safety, and guest relationships by walks around the deck and pool. Ensure that recreational pool equipment (e.g. balls, floaters, tubes) is available to swimmers when using the facilities. Work within the pool system's closure policy for inclement weather and unsanitary conditions.

Minimum of sixteen years of age. Motivated self-starter. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed.
