Job Overview As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting members of the community, preventing crime, and enforcing laws. You will work in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies to ensure public safety. Responsibilities - Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect crime - Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service - Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview witnesses - Enforce traffic laws and investigate traffic accidents - Arrest suspects and perpetrators of criminal acts - Write detailed reports on incidents and investigations - Provide assistance to the public and support crime prevention programs Skills - Possession of a valid police officer certification - Knowledge of immigration law procedures - Proficiency in first aid techniques - Experience in criminal investigation methods - Understanding of loss prevention strategies - Strong report writing skills - CPR certification - Demonstrated leadership abilities - Familiarity with animal care protocols - Ability to drive various vehicles safely
