GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Perform assembly and packer operations of products manufactured in the Plastic Molding Department (PMD). Understands and performs daily job duties in a manner which supports the Company / Department SAFETY - QUALITY - PRODUCTION goals and objectives.

HOURS ARE 11 PM - 7:30 AM.


MAJOR TASKS - RESPONSIBILITIES

Operation of the riveting machine Trimming of products Visual inspection of plastic products Packing of product Communicating issues with supervision and technical personnel Operating auxiliary equipment needed to produce finished goods and work in process (WIP) Staplers Carton Sealing machinery Any assignment as directed per management within the scope of personal capabilities

INDIRECT TASKS

Housekeeping Quality control inspections per customer or Zenith specifications Participate in department meetings

Works according to priorities set by the Production Manager Complies with the regulations and guidelines of conduct in place at Zenith; Meets the requirements of safety, hygiene and quality of Zenith;

PERSONNEL CHARACTERISTICS

Demonstrated ability to write legibly, to maintain records, and to give and follow oral and written instructions. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
