Job Description

Tutor NKU students, both in-person and online, in course content and skills for courses in which the tutor earned an "A" grade; maintain accurate records.

Primary Responsibilities
Tutor NKU students who request assistance in improving their skills, knowledge, or understanding of specific courses; maintain accurate records. [PLUS Tutors do NOT tutor writing or English composition courses; Writing Center consultants do this work.]

Maintain adequate progress with training and development. Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:

Acquire signed faculty recommendation form and attach as "Letter of Recommendation" to this application. No separate letter of recommendation is required.

30 or more semester credit hours earned, including transfer/early admit work Grade of "A" or "A-" in course(s) tutored Enrollment in 6 or more semester credit hours during time of employment; Maintain GPA of 3.25 or higher

Minimum Education Some College Pay Rate starting at $10/hr
