Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and construction, with the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and the capability to work in various environments, including residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations. Perform heavy lifting as needed for transporting materials and equipment. Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure integrated system functionality. Conduct construction estimating for plumbing projects, providing accurate assessments of time and materials needed. Work on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Utilize pipe threading techniques for various plumbing installations. Read and interpret schematics to understand plumbing layouts and requirements. Execute welding tasks as necessary for pipe connections or repairs. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are safe for use.

Qualifications

Proven experience in plumbing or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Strong understanding of construction estimating practices. Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with plumbing work. Proficiency in pipe threading techniques and reading schematics is desirable. Welding experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Valid driver's license may be required for commercial driving duties related to transporting materials or equipment.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
