Plumbing Engineer
Engineering firm has an opening in the MEP department for a plumbing engineer. This position will encompass the design of plumbing and fire protection systems for commercial buildings including retail, multifamily housing, educational, industrial and office. We will accept resumes from both P.E.\xe2\x80\x99s and EIT\xe2\x80\x99s with experience and skills as noted below.
Required:
- Bachelor of Engineering from an accredited school.
- 5+ years of experience in similar role.
- Advance knowledge of plumbing and fire protection design related to hi-rise, residential, educational, retail, commercial and industrial applications.
- Working knowledge of the International and National Plumbing Codes and NFPA13.
- Ability to develop design solutions and prepare construction documents for implementation.
- If you have earned your engineering license, it should be from the State of New Jersey or a reciprocal state.
- Software requirements include, AutoCAD, Revit and basic Microsoft Office.
- Candidates should have experience with client interaction.
- Good written and oral communications.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
