Playschool Teacher (Toddler Room)

Mountain Park HOA is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Playschool Teacher to join our early childhood program in the 2-3 year old classroom. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with toddlers and is passionate about supporting their early growth and development in a play-based learning environment.

About the Role

The Playschool Teacher creates a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can explore, build social skills, and develop curiosity through play. You'll plan and guide daily activities, help children with routines, and partner with families and staff to provide a positive early learning experience.

This is a

full-time

position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM.

Pay range is $19-$20 per hour, depending on experience.

What You'll Do

Foster a welcoming, supportive space for children and families. Lead age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play. Support social, emotional, and developmental milestones. Ensure health, safety, and licensing standards are followed. Collaborate with co-teachers and program staff.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has experience working with toddlers in a classroom or childcare setting, along with patience, creativity, and strong communication skills. Early Childhood Education coursework or certification is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is required (or must be obtained after hire). Applicants must also be enrolled in the Oregon Central Background Registry before beginning employment.
