Qualifications for this role

Extensive knowledge of pickleball rules, strategies, and techniques. Proven experience in scouting or talent identification, preferably in a competitive sports setting. Strong analytical and observational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel to various locations for scouting purposes. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for pickleball.

Responsibilities

Attend pickleball tournaments and matches to scout potential players. Analyze player performance, identifying strengths and weaknesses. Compile detailed scouting reports on potential recruits. Maintain a database of potential players and their contact information. Communicate with potential recruits, explaining the team's vision and opportunities. Collaborate with the coaching staff to identify players that best fit the team's needs. Assist in the player recruitment process, including interviews and tryouts. Stay current on pickleball trends and player developments. Maintain accurate records and documentation of scouting activities.
