What You'll Do
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on injection molding machines and mold-support equipment.
Change out molds/tooling and handle single molds up to 50-100 lbs.
Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues using prints/schematics.
Rebuild components (valves, pumps, motors), repair leaks, and perform PM work to prevent downtime.
Execute mold installs/removals, screw/nozzle cleaning, and equipment adjustments.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and keep work areas clean/safe.
Collaborate with the maintenance team on larger repairs when needed.
What You Need
5+ years
manufacturing experience with injection molding or similar equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills (heaters, servos, hydraulics, electrical).
Ability to read hydraulic/electrical/mechanical prints.
CMMS experience (online work orders).
Strong mechanical aptitude & ability to work independently.
Ability to lift 50-100 lbs.
Highly Valued Skills
Experience with PLCs or ladder logic
Knowledge of proactive vs. reactive maintenance practices
Understanding of mechanical vs. electrical repair ratios
