Job Description

Basic Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform various manual tasks in plant and surrounding facility Clean, sweep and shovel in and around machinery Assist mechanic with operation and maintenance of machinery Inspect concrete blocks on cuber line for defects and imperfections Clean and descale plant concrete mixer Make and repair pallets Lift and stack concrete blocks Operate forklift when necessary Follow safety procedures and guidelines Assist with training new employees Any other additional duties as required, but not limited to the above

Other Requirements:

Regular workweek is Monday through Saturday Must be flexible to work day, night or graveyard shift Must be able to lift 100 lbs. Must be able stand for long periods of time Forklift certification preferred Random drug testing Submit to post-offer employment physical & drug testing Shave for respirator fit testing as required Must have current driver's license Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English Experience working in block manufacturing plant preferred

Pay: Up to $27.32 per hour
