On a monthly basis, reviews monthly operating statements to ensure plant performance meets profit objectives and analyzes data to develop improvement strategies for the location,
On a daily basis, collaborates with production/quality/safety teams to ensure orders are completed on time, and that production goals for yield, quality and quantity are met.
On a daily basis, assists production/quality & process engineering in implementing process improvements to meet plant, customer, and corporate objectives.
On an annual basis, organizes and presents objectives, goals, and plans to various levels within the entire organization.
On an annual basis, collaborates with Director of Manufacturing to develop and present an annual operating budget.
On a quarterly basis, plans, organizes and implements training for all levels at the location
On a daily basis, ensures Company safety procedures are being adhered to.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Position assumes full managerial responsibility for multiple departments.
Position has budget responsibilities up to $5,000,000 and no revenue responsibilities.

SKILLS
Work is basically non-standardized and widely varied, involving many complex and significant variables. Analytic ability and inductive thinking are required to devise new methods in situations where previously accepted methods have proven inadequate.

EXPERIENCE
Position requires between 4-6 years production manager experience or similar experience.
EDUCATION
Four-year degree preferred, with a minimum of four years of practical experience in a field of study such as chemistry or engineering, etc.
