As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality pizzas that meet our restaurant's standards and delight our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Manage food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and measuring ingredients. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and pizza ovens safely and efficiently. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist in menu planning by contributing ideas for new pizza recipes and specials. Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Clean workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly to uphold hygiene standards.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Experience in restaurant or catering environments preferred. Proficient in food preparation techniques with an emphasis on pizza making. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Creativity in menu planning and meal preparation is a plus. Familiarity with dietary needs and preferences can enhance customer satisfaction.
