Duties

Prepare pizza dough from scratch or using pre-made bases, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch Select and measure ingredients accurately to craft a variety of pizza toppings, sauces, and cheeses Assemble pizzas with precision, applying proper knife skills and food handling techniques to ensure safety and presentation standards Operate ovens and other kitchen equipment efficiently to bake pizzas to perfection Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station, adhering to food safety regulations at all times Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or seasonal specials to keep offerings fresh and exciting Support the overall food service operation by helping with food preparation, catering orders, and serving when needed

Experience

Previous experience in a food industry setting, particularly in restaurant or kitchen environments involving food preparation and cooking Familiarity with dietary department standards or dietary aide experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs Strong culinary skills including knife proficiency, meal preparation, and food handling expertise Experience with fine dining or catering environments enhances your ability to deliver high-quality pizzas in diverse settings Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures is essential for maintaining health standards Prior restaurant experience involving food service, kitchen operations, or the food industry will support your success in this role A passion for culinary arts combined with excellent teamwork skills will help you thrive as part of our dynamic kitchen staff
