Duties

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers with proficiency. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils and workstations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or seasonal ingredients. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management. Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety standards.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with experience in meal preparation and cooking techniques. Proficient knife skills for efficient ingredient preparation. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings is preferred. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, fostering a positive work environment. Creativity in menu planning and willingness to help innovate new pizza offerings.
