Full-time (Evenings + Weekends) Wednesday - Sunday 2PM - 10PM Shift.

Position Summary

Proper Pizza Crew Members are responsible for delivering fast, friendly service and maintaining the high-quality standards Proper Pizza is known for. You'll work all areas of the shop -- from making pizzas to assisting customers -- while keeping the restaurant clean, organized, and running efficiently.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where reliability and teamwork matter.

Key Responsibilities Food Prep & Pizza Making

Prepare dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings according to Proper Pizza recipes. Assemble pizzas with accuracy, speed, and consistent quality. Prepare slice pies and ensure slice station is stocked during peak hours. Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.

Customer Service

Greet customers with a positive attitude. Take orders in person and over the phone. Provide accurate information on menu items. Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when needed.

Front of House (FOH)

Keep dining area clean, organized, and stocked. Wipe tables, sweep/mop as needed, restock drinks, maintain a clean lobby. Ensure slice display is at proper temperature and fully stocked.

Back of House (BOH)

Assist with kitchen organization, dishes, prep, and station setup. Maintain cleanliness of pizza line, prep tables, and ovens. Follow proper opening, midday, and closing checklists.

Teamwork & Reliability

Show up on time, in uniform, and ready to work. Take direction well and support team members during busy periods. Communicate clearly about schedule availability and shift swaps.

Qualifications

Must be reliable and punctual -- non-negotiable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs. Prior restaurant or pizza experience is a plus but not required. Must maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
