We are a Northwest Arkansas restaurant group looking for a Pitmaster who's ready to lead with skill, passion, and confidence, driving our barbecue program to excellence. This role requires someone who can oversee the pit, maintain consistent quality, develop the kitchen team, and deliver exceptional smoked meats every day.
The Pitmaster manages daily BBQ operations, ensures high-quality, consistent products, and upholds food safety standards. They coach and mentor kitchen staff, support overall restaurant operations, and serve as a key leader in delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Responsibilities Include
Operate and maintain smokers, grills, and other equipment, ensuring consistent quality, flavor, and presentation of all barbecue items.
Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff while setting a standard of professionalism, respect, and efficiency.
Oversee daily prep, production, and service to maintain smooth operations, cleanliness, and safety.
Manage inventory, portioning, and food costs to maximize profitability and minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food handling regulations, keeping all areas inspection-ready.
Collaborate with leadership and FOH on menu planning, service timing, and seasonal updates.
Drive guest satisfaction by maintaining quality, consistency, and creating memorable barbecue experiences.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
