Pit Operator - Cumberland, ME

Storey Brothers is seeking a pit operator, reliable and experienced in a pit or quarry to crush and screen material such as gravel, stone, loam and sand. The idea candidate will have experience working around crushers and screeners and able to operate varies types of equipment. This role will also be responsible for keeping the pit safe.

Key Responsibilities:

Crush and screen material Load trucks Ensure all operations are compliant with OSHA and MSHA Coordinate with maintenance with the mechanic

Qualifications:

3+ years operating heavy equipment Crushing experience Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Strong knowledge of mine safety regulations Excellent communication and organizational skills Commercial driver's license is a plus
