Job Description
Industrial Equipment Manufacturer in Westland, MI is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Pipe Fitter to join their team!
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand bend angles, and other specifications for fabricating parts. Set up, adjust, and operate manual or hydraulic pipe bending machines to bend various types and sizes of pipe and tubing with precision. Inspect finished bent pipes to ensure they meet specifications, checking for defects or inaccuracies in dimensions and form. Select, set up, and change dies, mandrels, and other tooling on the bending machine for different jobs and pipe requirements.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter or similar role in an Industrial setting 2-3 years' experience utilizing manual and hydraulic pipe bending machines Knowledge in blueprint reading and interpretation Ability to operate and maintain equipment effectively to ensure proper operation of hardware
Shift Hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm with potential for overtime as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
