Pipefitters / Mechanical Hands

to support ground-up construction of compressor stations in Eastern Pennsylvania. This long-term, high-priority opportunity offers consistent hours and the potential to remain employed on multi-year projects.

We are seeking skilled tradespeople with experience in bolt-up mechanical work, pipefitting, layout, and industrial piping system installation in energy and infrastructure settings. Candidates must be safety-conscious, reliable, and capable of working effectively within a disciplined crew.

Key Responsibilities

Perform fit-up and bolt-up of piping systems, valves, and related mechanical components. Read and interpret piping drawings, isometric diagrams, and mechanical blueprints. Use torquing and tensioning tools to achieve proper flange alignment and bolt integrity. Assist with layout, measurement, and assembly of piping systems in compressor station environments. Collaborate with welders, riggers, and supervisors to ensure timely and precise installation. Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Pipefitter, Mechanical Hand, or Bolt-Up Mechanic in industrial or energy-related settings. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and layout specifications. Must pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check. Required PPE: steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and high-visibility gear. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
