Position Overview:
Kansas Paving is hiring motivated and dependable
Pipe Crew Laborers and Equipment Operators
to join our underground utility and storm sewer crews. Positions involve working outdoors on water, sewer, and storm drain installation projects throughout the Wichita area.Responsibilities:
Assist with installation of underground utilities including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and backhoes (for operator positions). Perform general labor tasks such as grading, pipe laying, shoveling, and site cleanup. Follow directions from the Pipe Foreman to ensure safe and efficient job progress. Comply with all company and OSHA safety requirements.
Qualifications:
Previous construction or underground utility experience preferred but not required. For operator positions, experience with excavation equipment is required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Must be reliable and able to work as part of a team. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation required.
