The Medical Director will provide patient care, lead clinical quality initiatives, and support the interdisciplinary care team in improving outcomes and quality of life for residents.

Duties
Provide high-quality primary and acute care to residents in skilled nursing facilities
Serve as Medical Director, providing clinical oversight and leadership for facility staff and advanced practitioners
Collaborate with nursing staff, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and attend required facility meetings
Work directly with providers to mentor and educate them on our care process and determine what can be done to improve overall care quality.
Qualifications
MD or DO with an active and unrestricted medical license in New York
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
Prior experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or long-term care preferred
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
