University of Louisville Physicians is seeking a BE/BC family medicine or internal medicine/peds physician to join our urgent care plus practice in
Louisville. KY.
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced candidates committed to teamwork, communication, empowerment, and quality of care. The ideal candidate would provide standard care for patients of all ages.
A medical degree from an accredited school of medicine; board certification in family or internal medicine/peds, and eligibility for licensure in Kentucky are required. Clinical experience in family medicine is preferred.
Possess knowledge to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures.
Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. Should be familiar with EMR systems. Familiarity with EPIC is preferred; however, on-site EMR training will be provided.
Have excellent judgment and discretion, the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Be a team player with a "can-do" attitude that can work in a fast-paced, customer-service environment.
Ability to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.
Shifts are 12 hours, 8 am to 8 pm. Sundays 8 - 6 pm. Three shifts are required weekly for a 156 shift requirement annually. Some weekend rotations are required.

• Medical Doctorate

Experience:

• Epic EMR experience is preferred.
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills

Licensure:

• Physician license for the state of Kentucky

Certification:

• ACLS/BLS Certification
