Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physician Medical Director to lead our ambulatory clinical operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive medical management experience, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and standards. This role involves overseeing clinical teams, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving initiatives aligned with organizational goals. The Physician Medical Director will play a pivotal role in shaping clinical strategies, managing medical records, and fostering a culture of excellence within our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

Provide primary care to schedule patients for up to 4 days a week and participate in on call rotation. Provide clinical leadership of primary care services in 4 locations, in accordance with scope of services, federal regulations, and Joint Commission standards Supervise nurse practitioners, fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient care excellence. Collaborate with quality assurance a to address quality of care metrics and incidents Collaborate with manage team on budgeting, resource allocation, and project management to support organizational objectives. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based primary care Participate in and evaluate peer reviews of medical and behavioral health staff Conduct regular reviews of medical encounters to and ensure proper documentation accuracy for compliance ad billing other relevant duties as assigned by CMO or designee

Desirable Attributes

Willingness to provider exemplary primary care for 4 days a week with one day for administrative duties

Previous experience supervising nurse practitioners .

Board certification in Family Medicine or another primary care specialty

Other job related experiences are also desirable, although orientation and training on organizational policies ad procedures will be provided.

Clinic is only open on weekdays 10 paid Holidays a year non-emergency care only

Pay: $185,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
