Job Summary:

THIS POSITION REQUIRES TRAVEL; PRIMARILY IN STILLWATER, TRAVEL IS REQUIRED TO SAND SPRINGS FAMILY MEDICINE CLINIC.

Job Summary:
The Physician Assistant (PA) will be in the located in the Sports Medicine Department and have responsibilities in the OSU Medical Group Family Medicine clinic. The PA will be responsible for providing clinical services and care within the OSU System. This position will facilitate care in accordance with the ARC-PA Standards and Oklahoma State University policies.

Environmental Hazards:
Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry less than 25 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Required:
-Master\'s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
-NCCPA certification
-Current State License preferably with current DEA, OBNDD
-Valid Driver\'s License
-Travel is required

Preferred:
-ACLS, BLS, PALS certification

PA Principal Faculty Responsibilities:
-Clinical Practice
-Provide medical care to student athletes in the Sports Medicine Department.
-Provide medical care to a panel of patients within the Sand Springs Family Medicine clinic.
-Complete adequate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
-Complete adequate and timely billing.
-Cover Sports Medicine events as assigned.

Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge:
-Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
-Leadership skills demonstrated by participation in local, regional or national PA programs
-Experience or interest in Sports Medicine and Family Medicine
