Join our growing orthopedic practice on the Big Island! Hawaii Shoulder & Orthopedic Institute is seeking a motivated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to work closely with our orthopedic surgeon in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.
Position Details:

• Rate: $70?$90 per hour (Independent Contractor) - Based on experience
• Location: On-site in Hilo, Hawaii
• Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery
• Schedule: 1-2 times a week, 8 hrs per day for clinic, 1-2 times a week for surgery

Responsibilities:

• Surgical first assist with orthopedic surgeon
• Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up visits
• Assist with diagnosis, treatment planning, and rehabilitation care
• Perform joint injections, wound care, and post-operative assessments
• Collaborate with the physician on surgical cases and care coordination
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Qualifications:

• Hawaii PA license and NCCPA certification required
• Experience in orthopedics or related field preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
