We are looking for a Physical Therapy Aide to join our team and provide support to our physical therapists. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for physical and rehabilitation medicine, as well as an understanding of how to assist physical therapists in providing care. Responsibilities include assisting with patient treatments, helping with administrative tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in providing treatments to patients.
Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and exercises.
Assist with the use of equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and exercise machines.
Maintain patient records and assist with documentation.
Provide patient education on the importance of physical therapy.
Assist with the development of treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the physical therapist.
