Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Tech to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist licensed physical therapists in providing exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a clinical environment, supporting patient recovery and rehabilitation processes. The position requires good communication skills and a strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy with a focus on orthopedic care.

Duties

Assist physical therapists with patient intake, setup, and positioning for therapy sessions Support patient service and care by ensuring comfort and safety during treatments Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, maintaining cleanliness and organization Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to supervising therapists Support patients with mobility exercises under supervision, ensuring proper technique and safety Maintain knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

Requirements

Prior experience in a clinic setting is preferred; experience in orthopedics or sports medicine is a plus Strong patient service skills with a caring attitude toward diverse patient populations Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy is a plus. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and support patients' needs Ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and procedures
