As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our Physical Therapists and ensuring smooth clinic operations. With your positive attitude and effective communication skills, you'll create a welcoming and comforting environment for each and every patient. Your responsibilities will include assisting with therapeutic exercises and maintaining a clean and organized treatment space, contributing to each patient's healing journey.

What You Will Do:

Prepare and set up treatment rooms and necessary equipment for patient care. Assist patients with exercises, offering both motivation and guidance throughout. Partner with therapists to promote patient recovery and overall health. Contribute to improving patients' quality of life by providing hands-on support. Maintain the clinic's cleanliness and ensure treatment areas are fully stocked. Foster a positive, safe, and engaging environment for both patients and staff.

What You Will Bring:

Currently pursuing to enter medical profession (PT, OT, RN, MD, ATC) - These degrees require prior work experience we strive to "Give back" and promote these professions in the field.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to build strong relationships with patients and be attentive to their needs. Professional and friendly demeanor with a strong work ethic.

What You Will Experience:

You will work in a clinical setting, primarily in a physical therapy office. Environment will involve a blend of office space and patient treatment areas. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and support the therapists during treatment. Regularly handle and set up therapy equipment, working closely with patients. Fast-paced environment with regular patient interaction. You'll be standing, walking, bending, lifting, and guiding patients throughout their exercises. Tasks will involve repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements, and you'll need to grasp, push, and reach as part of patient care. Periods of sitting at a computer to input data, along with phone conversations with clients and team members. Demonstrate exercises, move equipment, and lift up to 15 lbs. from waist to overhead. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist height.
