JOB SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONS

JOB SUMMARY

Under supervision of a physical therapist, provides physical therapy treatments to all ages to maximize patient function within their physical limitations/disabilities through various physical therapy treatment interventions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Professional & Technical Skills
Good communication skills, ability to apply the theory of physical therapy, competency in performing physical therapy treatments and operating equipment, basic computer skills.
- Education
Minimum of an associate's degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
- License(s) or Certification(s)
Valid physical therapist assistant license in the state of Indiana
- Other Skills or Requirements
CPR certification
Some orthopedic experience preferred however further mentorship available.
- Skilled to Care for Certain Age-Related Patient Groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups)
