Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities:

Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans for residents Conduct patient assessments, interventions, and evaluations as directed by the physical therapist Provide resident education and training on therapeutic exercises, proper body mechanics, and safety precautions Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and communication with residents and families Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and goals
