The Role:

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) We are seeking a motivated and compassionate

Physical Therapist Assistant

to provide direct patient care. This is a

full-time

position with a consistent schedule:

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

. The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for the provision of Physical Therapy interventions for each assigned client. You will work as part of the Clinical Team, reporting to the NeuroRehab Administrator/Clinical Therapy Supervisor , and communicating daily with the Physical Therapist (General Supervision).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide therapy sessions as scheduled for each assigned client. Supply written progress notes after each scheduled session. Submit monthly clinical reports for each client by the end of the week of that client's Clinical Review. Communicate as necessary with the clinical team and residential staff regarding specific client issues. Participate in the development of predicted outcomes for assigned clients as part of the Clinical Team. Attend Clinical Team meetings and family meetings as indicated.

Compensation:

Pay is based on experience.*

Qualifications and Requirements:

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Pennsylvania

, oreligibility to sit for the licensure exam immediately following graduation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions from a physical therapist. Ability to follow therapy plans and document patient progress.

Physical Demands

The role frequently requires standing, walking, bending, squatting, twisting/turning, and performing lifts and pushes/pulls up to

40 lbs

(as indicated by the demands table).
