We are looking for a compassionate and motivated

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

to join our growing team at iCare Kidiatric Therapy. In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality physical therapy services to children with developmental disabilities, helping them build strength, coordination, mobility, and independence in daily activities.

Ideal candidates will have at least six months of experience in a similar role, but we also welcome recent graduates who have worked with individuals with developmental disabilities and are passionate about making a difference.

Responsibilities:



Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists (PTs) to address each child's specific physical and developmental goals. Conduct sessions in the client's home (you choose the zip code you want to work in). Provide direct therapeutic interventions focusing on gross motor development, balance, gait training, postural control, and mobility. Engage children and families/caregivers during therapy sessions, providing education and strategies to promote motor skill development and carryover at home and in the community. Monitor children's progress and document treatment sessions and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for therapy sessions, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and infection control protocols are followed. Participate in team meetings and collaborative care planning sessions to discuss children's progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications:



Associate's degree or equivalent in Physical Therapist Assisting. Valid

AZ PTA License.

Experience working with children with developmental disabilities (ASD, CP, Down syndrome) preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Fingerprint Clearance Card.

CPR/First Aid/Article 9 Training.

Professional Liability Insurance.


Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Projected Total Compensation: $62.00 - $68.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
