USA Sports Medicine has numerous cutting-edge facilities in prestigious locations focused on orthopedic and sports Physical Therapy, post-surgical rehabilitation, return-to-sport recovery, chronic pain, injury prevention, car accident and whiplash injuries. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of care and creating individualized treatment plans.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist Aide that will work under the direct supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. This position will involve administrative duties to aid in patient flow and management as well as clinical responsibilities.

Position is located at our Wellington facility to start as soon as possible.

Clinical Responsibilities

Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist when the Physical Therapist is performing evaluations and procedures. Aid in the implementation of patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the Physical Therapist Guide patients through PT-prescribed exercises Clean and disinfect treatment tables, equipment, and instruments after each use and at the end of the day.
Administrative Responsibilities (when needed)

Answer phones, greet patients and other visitors when they arrive Collect co-pays, coinsurance and self-pay payment Schedule patient appointments and complete new patient intake procedures Manage inventory of necessary office supplies and coordinate reordering Assist in managing patient flow, check-in and check-out
Qualifications

Have a basic understanding of human anatomy & physiology Knowledge of various treatment concepts and exercises Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Outgoing and vibrant personality Quick learner that's able to work independently 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare setting Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
