We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support licensed physical therapists by assisting with patient care, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. The position emphasizes patient service, clinical support, and a strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.

Responsibilities

Assist physical therapists with patient intake, setup, and post-treatment cleanup Support patient care activities such as positioning, transfers, and exercises under supervision Prepare treatment areas with necessary equipment and supplies for therapy sessions Monitor patient comfort and safety during therapy sessions Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces in compliance with health standards Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions and ensuring a welcoming environment

Qualifications

Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and acute care practices beneficial Experience working with diverse populations such as geriatrics or orthopedic patients is a plus Strong patient service skills with a caring and professional demeanor Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively within a healthcare team
Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
