Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated, committed to customer service, and a team player Rock Star Physical Therapy Aide to join our Rock Star team. The ideal candidate will assist our highly skilled team of Rock Star Physical Therapists.

This position is available in Dumfries, VA.

Duties:

Provide an excellent customer service and patient care. Support therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients. Assist patients with exercises and activities as directed by the therapist. Set-up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions. Monitor and report patient progress to the therapist. Ensure patient comfort during therapy sessions. Maintain appropriate supply inventory levels on a daily basis, doing laundry, inspect, sterilize, and cleanliness but not limited to the facility & rehab equipment in accordance to clinics standards. Application of heat & cold packs to patients. Participate in any other designated projects or roles as directed by the supervisor. Assist in administrative duties when needed.

Requirements:

High School or higher level of education. CPR certified

preferred

. Experience or knowledge in geriatrics, orthopedics, and outpatient setting is

preferred

. Knowledge of anatomy & medical terminology. Strong patient care skills with the ability to assist patients with care needs. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions diligently. Be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday to Friday.
