$90k-$110k per year (DOE)

We are looking for a motivated Physical Therapist to join our practice full time in Tyler, TX. Ideally, we are seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist, with good bedside manners, who is willing to work as team with our well respected and knowledgeable group. We prefer the PT have some experience in balance and vestibular issues, but it is not required. We are flexible in our need and can accommodate a PT looking for either part time or full-time help.

Duties:

  • Patient evaluation (new patient)-review health and medical histories, exam patients, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit
  • Formulate a diagnosis
  • Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient\'s particular needs with goals and completion date
  • Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living based on treatment program
  • Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, home exercises, and on how to continue with care after the end of their treatment
  • Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit (Track and measure treatment effectiveness)
  • Collaboration with the other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
  • Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
  • Contribute to the development and promotion of the practice
  • Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an Accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • PT License in TX
  • 1+ year(s) of outpatient neuro/ortho center or vestibular rehab experience preferred
  • Must be able to carry out and progress a skilled treatment plan in outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation setting
Schedule:
  • Full time
  • Mon-Friday 8-5
Compensation:
  • $90k-$110k per year (DOE)
