Your Starting Role: Phone Sales Specialist (Level 1)
Everyone starts here --
even if you have sales experience
.
This phase is about learning how Urban Youth Park serves families, how our programs work, and how to confidently guide parents to the right decision.
Level 1 Responsibilities
You will:
Call new leads within assigned timeframes
Follow up with:
Trial class families
Camp leads
Event inquiries
Missed sign-ups and warm leads
Conduct discovery-based sales calls:
Understand the child
Understand the parent's concerns
Recommend the right program
Book:
Trial classes
Enrollments
Camps and events
Use established:
Sales scripts
Call flows
Objection-handling frameworks
Log every call, note, and outcome correctly
Coordinate with Facility Directors when needed
Flag issues early (confusion, pricing questions, recurring objections)
At this level, your goal is
clarity, consistency, and follow-through
.
Growth Path at Urban Youth Park
Just like our coaches grow into leaders, this role is built with
clear advancement
.
Level 2 -- Sales Lead
As you prove consistency and strong results, you'll take on more ownership.
Additional responsibilities include:
Owning follow-up systems and call cadences
Tracking conversion rates (lead ? trial ? enrollment)
Improving scripts based on real conversations
Supporting promotions and special offers
Coaching newer sales team members
Coordinating closely with Directors on enrollment goals
Helping ensure classes, camps, and events fill on time
This level is about
thinking ahead, not just dialing
.
Level 3 -- Sales Manager
This is full ownership of the phone sales system.
Additional responsibilities include:
Owning the entire phone sales strategy
Building and refining:
Scripts
Objection handling
Call flows
Training and onboarding new sales team members
Tracking and reporting performance metrics
Coordinating with marketing and email teams
Ensuring sales systems scale across all locations
Continuously improving the parent experience
This level is about
leadership, systems, and long-term growth
.
How Success Is Measured
You'll know you're succeeding when:
Leads are contacted quickly and consistently
Parents feel heard, not pressured
Trial classes convert into enrollments
Camps and events fill reliably
Follow-up is clean and organized
Leadership trusts the sales system without micromanaging
Families thank you for the call -- even if they don't enroll
