Position:

Phlebotomy Instructor/Director

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists. Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions. Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion. Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner. Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable). Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.

Requiredreliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.

RequiredTechnology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.

Preferred- EKG knowledge and work experience

Required- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

State Requirements:

CURRENT Licensed Lab Assistant or Office Lab Assistant in the state of Nevada

with a minimum of

2 years full time phlebotomy experience

in the previous 5 years (venipuncture, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement), must provide a copy of license upon request Must be able to provide letters from previous employers indicating and describing the work or teaching responsibilities in detail and provide contact information to verify employment Hold no less than a

high school diploma or GED

AND

have completed a program of instruction at a recognized school in Phlebotomy, must provide a copy of diploma or transcript upon request

Two years of supervisory/management experience

Instructors will be fingerprinted by the Nevada Commission per state regulations

Schedule:

AM: Monday-Thursday, 9:00AM - 1:00PM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
