Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Phlebotomy Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instructions in various subjects, particularly focusing on medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and laboratory procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of learning technologies and the ability to engage students effectively in both classroom and laboratory settings.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging course content that aligns with curriculum standards. Utilize learning technology platforms, such as Canvas, to enhance the learning experience. Conduct lectures, facilitate discussions, and guide laboratory sessions to foster student understanding. Review and assess student procedures and assignments to provide constructive feedback. Stay updated on clinical research and advancements in laboratory technologies to incorporate relevant information into the curriculum. Collaborate with faculty members to ensure a cohesive educational approach across courses. Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.

Experience

A background in health sciences, phlebotomy or related fields is preferred, with knowledge of anatomy and physiology and current clinical lab practices. Experience using learning management systems such as Canvas is highly desirable. Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and documentation review processes is beneficial. Previous teaching or clinical experience is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse groups of students effectively.
